SQL performance is bad after V10 migrate.

Our customer migrated DB2 V10(NFM) from V8(NFM).
In particular query,processing time took one minute in the case of DB2 V8,but DB2 V10 increased to 11 minutes.

The VIEW has been used by the customer LEFT OUTER JOIN 50 times near internally.
As a result,calculation result of cost reached more than 50 columns and exceeded the upper limit of the cost of DB2 is assumed.

In the above case,Optimizer chooses an access path that became the first candidate.
But in the case of V10, the performance of the access path that became the first candidate was not good.

    Dear Awano-San, The Db2 for z/OS team has re-reviewed this Aha! idea and determined that, without additional information, they cannot continue to evaluate this idea.

    The new corporate directive is to accept ideas only if it fits in the prioritized list of items for the upcoming 12 month forecast/roadmap.

    This idea does not fit in the upcoming 12 month roadmap, therefor, it has been closed as Not under consideration.

    We will keep this idea in our inventory so you may provide more information. Users may continue to vote on this idea as well.
