Increase the limit of 100 ckpts entries in BSDS

BACKOUT YES specifies the recovery of objects to a prior point in time
by a log-only backout. No image copy is restored, it uses the log to
backout changes made since the log point that is specified in the
TOLOGPOINT or TORBA options. So we suggest the customer to use BACKOUT
YES option when the specified recovery point in time is relatively
recent.

The system checkpoints are stored in a list of 100 entries that wraps
in BSDS. If RECOVER BACKOUT YES to a point which is not within the
system checkpoints in the current BSDS of all the DB2 members, it means
it is far behind. DB2 is unable to do the recovery via the BACKOUT
method.

When deciding how to set your parameters that control how frequently
these checkpoint entries are written you have to balance restart and
RECOVERY BACKOUT considerations. The more frequent the checkpoints
that can help when doing a restart can shrink the window for doing
BACKOUT recoveries
We ask to expand the list of checkpoint entries (now 100) in the BSDS.

    Thank you for submitting this enhancement request. While we view all the enhancement requests we receive as valuable and we would like to implement all of them, in an effort to have maximum transparency we are closing the ones that don’t currently appear on our two year product roadmap. This is not to say that these enhancements may not still be implemented at some point in the future as we do evaluate our requirements on the basis of customer demand and technical impact, to deliver maximum value to our customers.
