IDAA should keep informat...

Currently IDAA does not keep information about partitions of a table (defined in DB2 and IDAA) that are loaded only in IDAA using IDAA LOADER with the option IDAA_ONLY. From stored procedure ACCEL_GET_TABLES_DETAILS, the partitions appears as regular partitions that were accelerated. There are no information about the rows nor storage used in IDAA for that partition. Also, the status is LOAD_RECOMMENDED, since IDAA LOADER loads the partition on DB2 with zero rows. So when a partition or table is load with IDAA LOADER with IDAA_ONLY option, IDAA/LOADER need to keeps information about rows loaded, storage usage, date/time of the load, data sets used as sysrec for load. Also IDAA should not indicate the partition as LOAD RECOMMENDED. This information should also be displayed in IDAA Data Studio and DB2 Admin Tool.

    • Showing 'Load recommended' for tables that have been loaded into

    • IDAA_only tables

    • IDAA COE suggested to customer to simply ignore this information

    • since they know that they have loaded the tables using the loader.

    • It also seems that the behavior is different with IDAA V5.1 and IDAA

    • Loader V2.1. We have tested the scenario with IDAA V5.1 and IDAA

    • Loader V2.1 which shows load recommended "no - Data unchanged"
