Using the TEST function, Need to Filter by Index Name or Table Name

Looking to convert an NPI to DPSI. Need a way to compare access paths of all SQLs that are currently using the NPI to What-if the NPI was not there (aka Virtual Index Delete). The TEST function (Dynamic Explain) currently does not allow filtering by TABLE or INDEX.

BIND EXPLAIN ONLY allows for filtering on the table, but does not make use of the VIRTUAL INDEX. This function also does not filter at the INDEX.

While this is being requested for NPI to DPSI conversion, this can also be helpful for the case of dropping an index. "Show me the access paths of SQLs using index 'ixname' now, and compare to if this index was deleted." The input for this process should be as simple as "Ixcreator.ixname."

Needed By Not sure -- Just thought it was cool
