Consider MS SQL SQL syntax while parsing

Some T-SQL statements used in Views cause sql parsing failure in IGC

For Example:

- NOEXPAND statement

- Try_Cast function

- CASE in a WHERE expression

Hi William, thank you for submitting the Aha Idea. Unfortunately we do not plan to enhance IGC to support additional T-SQL statements.

You may wish to explore Watson Knowledge Catalog in Cloud Pak for Data. The metadata import and lineage functionality in WKC can support code analysis of T-SQL code from MS SQL Server.
