IIS 11.7.1 DataStage Server DB2 External Table Support

Due to:

  • potential manual efforts involved with retesting PX jobs post JR61510 patch and,
  • volume of Server jobs having TWT logic in user-defined SQL statements
  1. Stage with DB2 connector using "Write mode=User-define SQL", "Direct Insert Property =No" (Temp. table created but it said could not find...)

Please allow the implementation option to use temporary work table (Direct insert = No) with User-defined SQL statements in both Server and Parallel jobs.

    At this point we are not further enhancing the DataStage Server capabilities.

    External tables are supported by the DB2 connector in the parallel canvas
