Support for Python 3.6

Problem: IBM SPSS Modeler supports Python 2.7 as Python for Spark. But this Python also can be used for other purposes like running extensions available at https://github.com/IBMPredictiveAnalytics
More extensions would be available for Modeler to be used if the newer Python (e.g. Python 3.6) could be used instead of supported one.

    There is no Jython 3.6.

As we are preparing the implementation of Watson Studio Local within our firm, our data scientists are requesting to have Python 3.6 as standard as this is what they currently use and this is also the package that our firm has authorized in our own repository. Having only 3.5 would mean that all data scientists need to re-test all their Python scripts for compatibility and could possibly lose some features.

I see the request is tagged as "Planned". Do you have a timeline for its implementation?

    Thanks
