MDM v12 Browser Support for Microsoft Edge

Hi Support,


This is Mark from Accenture, i work in behalf of our client IHIS here in Singapore. Our client primarily uses Microsoft products, and they're asking if there are any plans to support Microsoft Edge.

    Hi Mark,

    As you are probably already aware, the new Microsoft Edge (Chromium) is built on the same underlying technology as Google Chrome (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/microsoft-edge-chromium-1ce9507c-f09d-4de6-a706-eb52f46be90c#ID0EBF=About).

    However, officially we only support Google Chrome, as we can't find an official statement from Microsoft that the new MS Edge is 100% compatible with Google Chrome.

    Customers can use new Microsoft Edge, but they will be at their own risk. In case of issues running MDM V12 UIs on new Microsoft Edge, if the issues are re-produce-able on Google Chrome, we will support and fix the issues on Chrome.

    Hi Mark,

    We are confirming that MDM SE V12 UIs (Inspector, Web Reports and Enterprise Viewer) are supported on MS Edge. The MDM System Requirement page will be updated shortly.
