Clicking on a pie chart segment should take you to a grid view pre-configured to that section

Modern interactive charts typically allow users to drill down into the data based on the selection of the chart the user clicks on. e.g. If I see a chart of Red, Amber and Green issues, then if I click on the red portion of the pie chart, then I would expect:

- the grid view returned to have a filter of issue colour = Red automatically applied

- the above filter to be shown at the top of the grid view (as with other filters) allowing me to remove that filter and see all data if that is what I want in this instance

    This request has been delivered in OpenPages 8.1.

    Now, when clicking on an area of a chart, the user will end up on the grid with the data relevant to that area the user clicked on

    Example: on a chart showing issue by priority, clicking on high will now show only the issues with high priority.

    At the May 1, 2019 Watson FSS RegTech CAB Meeting in NYC...

    This RFE was picked as one of the 30 "Future Consideration" enhancement requests (out of a total "Future Consideration" list of 106) to vote on.

    There were 8 participating Clients who were given 10 "Voting Dots" each to vote on their "Top Ten" out of this 30.

    As a result of this voting exercise, this RFE received 0 votes.

    This request will not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme is aligned with our multi-year strategy. IBM is soliciting Community feedback for this request through activities such as voting. IBM will update this request in the future.
