Health Check Script for OpenPages

There are many settings, configuration files, parameters, etc. in an OpenPages installation. It would be helpful if we had a script or utility that could validate those settings against one another and against the installed environment. For example, ensuring that the configured database client is 32-bit, and the client tools are available in the path when needed. JRE versions are another common source of problems.
The script will need to validate integration points with the Cognos and WebSphere components.

Also incorporated in the script may be compliance with specific security settings. This could ensure the OpenPages application is compliant with security guidelines as well as make it easier and faster to check security compliance during an audit.

It may be beneficial to have two scripts, one to ensure compliance with the application installation and one to ensure compliance with security guidelines.

I volunteer to assist with the creation of such a script.
