DB Script to purge entire data set

When DEV is refreshed with PROD data, Clients would not want to expose their confidential data on a Non-PROD environment. To some extent there are purge/anonymization APIs but it is object/resource specific. It would be better to have a DB script to purge entire data set so that the DEV instance only retains application configuration after refresh but not the data.


On DEV, Clients does play around with the configuration and customisation, and not all configurations/customizations make their way to PROD which makes DEV out of sync with PROD in many ways. One of the options is to refresh DEV with PROD backup but Clients want to ensure that the DEV does not expose any of their PROD data to DEV users and they expect DEV to retain only application configuration.


Note: Import/Export configuration will NOT work as importing PROD configuration on DEV does not delete unnecessary fields/field groups/drop down values etc created on DEV. Also soft deleting objects would not work as there would be users who might have access to DEV DB.
