Optim TDM 11.7 for DB2 on z/OS - Overrides for both, SRCCID and DESTCID in Table Maps

Hello IBM,

We use Optim TDM extensively for setting up Test Data by extracting from Live and inserting into different UAT environments. Instead of generating the jobs each time a request comes, we have a set of batch jobs that are run when a request is raised. Each request could be for a different Target. We would like to use a batch job with overrides to SRCCID and DESTCID for inserting from a Source to Target environment. Right now, this is not possible in Optim TDM 11.7. Could you please provide an enhancement to make this possible.

    The RESTORE and INSERT processing allows for TMDEFCID keyword, which one can specify in the regular control statements section, or DEFCID, in override section, to override the DESTCID of a TM:

    "TMDEFCID Override for the destination Creator ID for the selected Table Map."

    There is no option to override the SRCCID as such would disable some of the safety measures and diagnostics. However, APAR PH41513, which relaxes the verification of SRCCID/DESTCID values in Table Maps, should provide sufficient relief for the problem documented above.
