Another reason why this has become increasingly important is the move towards Planning Analytics SaaS.
For centrally authored reports, we need a way to create dynamic consolidations or custom roll-ups without permanently changing the model.
DefineCalc provides exactly this flexibility in PAfE. However, without Websheets support, this approach cannot be carried over to PAW.
If the traditional UDC approach is also not available in the same scenarios, the gap becomes even more significant.
Is there currently a recommended approach for this use case in Planning Analytics SaaS?
Hi,
just following up on this idea as we are now in September 2026.
In August 2025, there was still no support for DefineCalc in TM1 Web, and the public roadmap was mentioned as showing Q2 2026 for this functionality.
Has there been any update since then? Is DefineCalc now supported in Websheets, or is this still planned for a future release?
It would be great to get an update on the current status.
what is the current status for this topic?
Hi, how its going with that topic. In Pa Saas we now dont have both (UDC, Definecalc). When will this be implemeted?
hello,
what is the current update for this?
As far as I know, in 2025 it has no functionality in tm1web, isn't it?
Thanks for the update Stuart, appreciate it. Speaking personally, this enhancement can't come soon enough!
Moved to future consideration. Support for the DefineCalc function in Websheets will be considered for the 2024 roadmap or beyond.
Reviewing with the Planning Analytics for Excel and Websheet team.
