Expose TM1 Server logs in PAW Modeling Workbench for OperationsAdmin Group

We have a operations group which requires the ability to see if certain scheduled jobs have been run or have completed without error, and currently do not have the capability to do this via the existing controls/groups within the PAW Modeling workbench. These users should not have full administrative rights on the environment as they are not enabled to execute and re-run specific jobs, however we need the abilty to troubleshoot without giving explicit access to the tm1 log database via SFTP using the Planning Analytics on Cloud platform.

By extending the capability of the OperationsAdmin role to view TM1 Server Logs, in addition to the already available capabilities to see and cancel threads, these users can effectively complete their job.

This idea is not under consideration. The IBM Planning Analytics team is not planning changes to the TM1 v11 Server security model. Any changes to the security model would only be considered for TM1 v12. Note that there is no tm1server.log file in TM1 v12. All log output is pushed to an external service.
