The error messages should align to why there would be a failure/error. If we can group by user friendly names that would be best I mentioned. Maybe: "Table\View does not exist", "No access to Select from Table\View", "Delayed Response from Source Connection", etc would be helpful. This is my Manager David's response to my comments. Thanks.
It is good to display a validation message appropriately reflecting the error. Ex: IF the entire scan job FAILED due to Table not existed in TDDD then the message should reflect "Table not existed in TDDD" instead of No message or no reason for FAILED status and no one can run the quick scan job. Jobs gets stuck there . Thanks
