Request to Limit Connection Creation Process to the Source DB while running MDI/MDE

For Example:

  1. We have an Oracle connection with a limit of 20 User Sessions per user. When we try to run an MDI Job using the Oracle Connection, The MDI is exceeding the limit of Sessions ~20, here the problem is we are running this MDI/MDE on the Scheduled Window to not impact the PROD DB Performance in peak hours.

  2. So considering this we created an SF Ticket to address this issue, after the discussion IBM Team Suggested increasing the MDI limit of the session limit for users from 20 to 60 & for MDE it is 80.

  3. Team Gave us the Theoretical explanation & logic behind the MDI Working under the Hood, but our Team is not interested in pursuing the options to reduce the system throughput for an occasional system as as per the MDI Process Documentation & here the ask is to control the limits per job instead of altering the entire system
