Request to Simplify and Improve ADDI Visualization for New User Onboarding

We have received repeated feedback from our client regarding the current visualization of flow diagrams and reports within ADDI. They have expressed that many of the generated diagrams appear overly dense and difficult to interpret, especially for new team members who are unfamiliar with the system.

As ADDI is expected to help developers quickly understand the logic and structure of legacy programs, we believe there is a strong need to enhance the clarity and usability of the UI. Specifically, we would like to request the following improvements:

Simplification of Diagrams – Reduce visual complexity by allowing users to toggle layers of detail (e.g., hide/show certain control flows, isolate key components).

Enhanced Layout and Design – Improve visual aesthetics and readability, such as better spacing, grouping of logical blocks, and use of color or labels to highlight main program flows.

Contextual Summaries – Add high-level summaries or tooltips to help users quickly understand the purpose and relationships of a program or component.

Onboarding Support – Consider a beginner mode or guided view that highlights key logic paths and typical starting points for code analysis and modification.
