ITC tables for pureScale

ITC are very useful to have table that have large batch deletes on it. Then space reclaim is a quite easy and fast task using REORG RECLAIM EXTENTS ONLY.

ALTER TABLE DROP COLUMN for BLU tables

ALTER TABLE DROP COLUMN is not yet supported on BLU tables.

External Tables support on Windows

I went to use this marvelous feature on windows.. and for my surprise external tables are not implemented for this platform :-( (v11.5) Why ? Please, add support for external tables usage on windows hosts as well .

When installing DB2 for GKLM, I am asked to provide a passwords (DB2 and Application), that contains 2 digits, a special, an upper-case and a lower-case character. I tell customers about "quantum safe", long passwords and using special characters....

Fill gap with Oracle optimizer on RP tables

DB2 optimizer in v10.5/v11.1 has still several weaknesses in generating correct plan when using RP tables, because it bases its plan only on global stats when partition (data and indexes) stats are available. Case TS001150102

Add the ability to retrieve output and inout parameter values into global variables in dynamic stored procedure calls. Need this functionality for DB2 for z/OS. Apparently, it already exists for DB2 LUW.
