Hi Mateusz, thank you for submitting the Aha Idea. IBM has a separate product for managing APIs and their lifecycles: IBM API Connect https://www.ibm.com/products/api-connect?utm_content=SRCWW&p1=Search&p4=4370007447[…]QobChMIi9a57N_vhQMVxlhHAR260gIrEAAYASAAEgJ85PD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Would that be suitable for your use case?
The automated discovery process in IKC focuses on structured data assets accessed through our supported connectors, plus some additional data integration and BI tools for data lineage.
Currently, we do not plan to support automated scans of YAML and json files that represent APIs and extract metadata from those files. However, IKC provides REST APIs which can be leveraged by external apps or scripts to extract metadata from these files and add them to the catalog as custom assets.
