Allow mixed case for userids for Cognos/CPD

Cause & Issue:

Currently, our user IDs in OpenPages are stored in uppercase

During our migrating of OpenPages to CP4D, we found that CP4D stores its user IDs in lowercase

This has led to the user sync job between CPD4 and OpenPages creating a new set of user IDs within OpenPages in lowercase

(i.e. so now, a single user has 2 user IDs, one in uppercase and one in lowercase)

When users login via CPD4 and then pass through into OpenPages, they are being logged into OpenPages using their lowercase user Id.

This means that the uppercase user ID is no longer being used

This change in user ID casing has created impacts for us, and we are looking for a way to avoid this and keep the uppercase version of the user IDs in OpenPages as the active ID.

Request:

CP4D to Juno User Sync

  1. Can we have a way for the user sync job between CPD4 and OpenPages to either leave existing user ID casing as they are OR create new user ID in uppercase

Authentication process

  1. For OpenPages/Cognos to get authenticated via CP4D with the casing of user ID having no impact

note that client uses both uppercase and mixed case userids, so mixed case userids need to be supported.
