Db2 PureScale Spectrum Scale Package (GPFS) should include performance sensor and collector package

Dear IBM,

in the Spectrum Scale distribution bundled with DB2 pureScale, the binary of mmperfmon is included but the packages for the required sensors and collectors are missing.

mmperfmon is needed to identify possible performance bottlenecks with the GPFS filesystem. mmpmon doesn’t show the required information.

According to IBM Storage expert, it would be best to install the required functionality with the installation toolkit which is also missing. Installing IBM Spectrum Scale on Linux nodes with the installation toolkit - IBM Documentation

We are using DB2 11.5.8. on RHEL 8.6.

We would at least need the corresponding files for

gpfs.gss.pmsensors-x.x.x-x.el8.x86_64.rpm

gpfs.gss.pmcollector-x.x.x-x.el8.x86_64.rpm

To follow the instructions for the manual installation given at Manually installing the performance monitoring tool - IBM Documentation

Of course it would also be appreciated if we could also use the GUI: Manually installing IBM Spectrum Scale management GUI - IBM Documentation

Db2 bundles a version of IBM Spectrum Scale for use in a pureScale Cluster. I'm grateful for this.

But IBM also suggests in this (KC link) to use the provided Spectrum Scale version but not overtake a user based installation of GPFS. So a GPFS customer following IBM's suggestion and using the Db2 bundled version of Spectrum Scale is actually loosing functionality.

it would be generous of IBM to include all of the sub packages with the Db2 bundled Spectrum Scale version and also allow the use in the sub-license agreement.
    Thanks,
