Hello,
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) does not provide any "authentication" capabilties and relies on Third Party solutions to perform any/alll "authentication". The model is that FTM will integrate with third party authentication services such as LDAP, Active Directory, Tivoli WebSeal, etc. to perform the auhtentication of a user, and then map that authenticated user to a "role" (Group) in FTM for proper "authorization & entitlements". Multi-Factor Authentication is not in scope for the FTM portfolio.
Today, FTM leverages Websphere to accomplish the integration with third party authentication services. In 2024, the intent is to switch to the new modern UI, which will leverage an OIDC intetration rather than the previous WAS model for this type of integration.
Based on this, the requested capability of this Idea is not in plan for the FTM portfolio.
