Hi Stuart, the issue here is that a users security may allow them to write to this cell, it is whether this visualisation should allow data entry. In my view it shouldn't as it is a visualisation. You wouldn't expect the database to be updated if you accidentally typed or hit the delete key on another visualisation such as a Bar Graph so why would this be any different? I am also not suggesting a change in security here, just don't allow data entry on the visualisation?
I would be pretty confident that very few in the PAW community would be using this visualisation to allow data entry as they would just set up standard grid view.
Regards David
Not under consideration. TM1 database security should be used to set read only access to the cells displayed in the cube viewer (exploration) and single cell widget. We are not planning on setting security based on the cube viewer or other widget properties.
