A better Element management approach in Leaves dimension: Hierarchy

Currently when managing ( deleting and rebuilding) Hierarchies, it's fairly common for a C: Element in an Alt Hierarchy to end up inthe Leaves dimensions as an N: element when the hierarchy is made to go away.

This causes programmatic problems/errors in rebuild, and thus results in the need for a TI process to delete elements in Leaves hierarchy that are not in the main Dimension hierarchy ( or other surviving alt-hierarchies)

It would be nice if these "fake/accidental" N: level elements did not happen at all.

Needed By Not sure -- Just thought it was cool

If a C level element exists in any hierarchy of a dimension it should not be possible to create a leaf member with the same name. If you can reproduce this in a current build of TM1 please open a support case with steps to reproduce. This would be a defect.

I'm not sure what you mean be the hierarchy being made to go away. It should not possible to delete the Leaves hierarchy without deleting the dimension that contains the Leaves hierarchy.
