Comment colour in TI different, concerning a string with more than 1 line, e.g. mdx-expression with strings

Hello,

in PAW_98 I checked that if you have a code with more than 1 line and then you comment different parts, especially strings, however, not only sole strings like 'test' but also mdx-expressioins, the colour is not always right, concerning the comment. It means, if you have bigger scripts and you want to see in one sight, what is "active" or not, you cannot do it as simple, as the colour is not right.

Normally, the colour for comments is green, for variables blue, for normal code red.

It is the same for PAW_98 as also PAW_95.

For earlier versions, like 93 and 94, the colour was correct.

Can you please check it and enhance it back, so that if you comment sth, you get the same common colour as expected, independently what you separate, a string, variable, code parts etc.

For TI itself, everything is fine.

You get only the active lines, so it doesnt matter, how you are writing your code, in one line, in lots of lines, with commented lines or without, you get the result that is active.

The issue is only with the colour itself

Thank you in advance.

With best regards,

Vitalij

I've opened a defect report to address this. This will be a lower priority defect based on the impact. We likely won't address this until early 2025.

attached you see two examples with the issue.

if you separate your variables to different lines, there is no problem with it, if you do it with a string itself, you dont see the difference anymore and that is annoying.
