Options for row/column dimension synchronize behaviour

To control what elements are shown on rows or columns of a cube view (without having to open set editor), it is already possible to drag the dimension outside the view and synchronize the cube view for that dimension. However, the synchronize functionality for row/column dimensions seems to work in a very limited way - the view always includes the selected element together with its immediate children (if they exist). A more useful behaviour would be to show all leaf level elements under the selected member, which would also allow cube views to compete with reporting tools built on relational dbs. The best case would be some options on how the dimension is synced to rows/columns (only element itself, with its children, with its leaves etc.) As PAW seems to create some MDX on the fly to achieve the current functionality, it should be quite straight-forward to modify this behaviour.
