Anthony,
We have more applications in our Platform Symphony 7.2 cluster and we observe the following failures from time to time when the cluster is busy.
Caused by: com.platform.symphony.soam.SoamException: Domain :A new connection with ID 3826091a-4026-11e9-c000-0050569cf363-140340049618688-4516 was rejected because of insufficient system resources. There may be either insufficient memory or virtual address space available to the application. Please adjust the boundaryManagerConfig settings in the application profile.
This seems due to one busy management-host caused by some heavy sessions (large common data/input/output w/o DDT). This leads to the failure for all applications on this management-host. The cluster itself can actually handle the load. We usually have three management-host and the applications on other hosts still work. We generally solve it manually by running “soammigrate” to migrate the affected application to a different management-host. (see the previous email)
We are wondering if there is an option to tell the Symphony to do it automatically, i.e. migrating the application to a different management-host when the original management-host is too busy. If there is none, maybe it is a useful feature to add. Thanks.

We already have the SSM Migration feature (soammigrate) for the admin, and we purposely choose not to automate the migration as it can impact the other processes running in the host.
Here is what I run manually:

Remember to specify EGO entry point in /opt/symphonyDE/DE7202/conf/ego.conf

IBM Spectrum Symphony will migrate the SSM for the application. Some tasks may rerun if SSM is upgraded or the value of parameter [-s simReconnectionTimeout] is small.
Are you sure that you want to do the migration? (Y/N) y
