PIVOT/UNPIVOT functions in DB2 for z/OS

Currently, the DB2 for z/OS SQL does not support any functions for PIVOTING / UNPIVOTING data. This results in extremely complex SQL whenever a matrxi/cross tab report is required. Such reports are very common in open systems databases.
