automatically activate a database when DB2 LUW is started

See PMR 14855,227,000. We would like some way to automatically activate a specific database when a DB2 instance is started without the use of external scripts or DB2 APIs.

We will like to see some automated way to change just the IP when we failover to our disaster recovery site instead of making it a manual process on the Admin Console

We have automated the changes we do on our disaster recovery site by submitting batch jobs to alter the ALIAS for InSync once the DB2's start. Since the private Network does not change and we recover via GDPS the accelerator connects with no issue...

Impossibility to close the previously opened session in the Administrative Console

The client claims that if they go outside the Administrative console without logout, to log in again, they have to wait for the logout timeout because the system does not allow them to close the previous session.

Maintain catalog assets versions

Customer would like to see version changes in data assets (Technical metadata) for the custom attributes of the assets and column properties. This would allow them to easily have a view on the past 10 changes of the data assets.

Db2u without OpenShift

We have a cloud-native strategy that Db2u fits better than most other RDBMSes. We also have a fairly mature Kubernetes infrastructure. We would really like to run db2u on native Kubernetes, without OpenShift.

Informix should be able to change owner on tables and any other objects

If user=informix creates all database and all tables, then programmer creates table but user=informix cannot change it. Only drop it.

Allow a join of a temporal table with an archive-enabled table.

Allowing us to join a temporal table with an archive-enabled table would allow us to take advantage of both features. As is we will have to choose one or the other.
