Azure AD authorization integration with Cognos Analytics on Cloud (CAoC)

Azure AD is currently supported through OpenID connect. However, the automated integration is currently limited to authentication and you have to assign user to Cognos groups and roles manually to implement authorization.
You can manually upload files to update groups and users, but the workload of maintaining updated authorizations for thousands of users manually in this way is challenging. The conventional LDAP integration with MS Active Directory or other LDAP service already integrates dynamically with Cognos Analytics and we need the possibility of an automated procedure for authorization maintenance between Cognos Analytics and Microsoft Azure AD.

    This feature is now supported in the latest versions of the IBM Cognos Analytics Mobile apps. Thank you for your submission and all those that voted!

    Our OEM solution would benefit from this too.  We have a security model that leverages security groups and it works quite nicely with MS Active Directory.   Unfortunately our customers that are on the leading edge with MS Azure AD are not able to leverage this model.  We require the ability to leverage Azure AD groups for authorization purposes.
