As a workaround, we introduce the ability for a company, to disable the use of "shared credentials" : https://www.ibm.com/support/producthub/icpdata/docs/content/SSQNUZ_latest/cpd/install/change-shared-creds-settings.html
As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The offering
team has carefully reviewed this idea and has decided that it does not fit into our current plans, so the request for enhancement will be closed. The request will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and might be reassessed or reopened for additional feedback or voting in the future. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us the privilege of partnering with you in developing our products.
We're working on a solution to disable "Shared credentials' capability. This should be part of the future release of the product.
Please confirm that it would meet your enterprise requirements. As of now, we're not considering exposing what you're asking for, as a proposed user experience, but would rather allow removing the use of this functionality.
Thanks,
Thank you for submitting this idea.
We're considering this feature in future releases of the product. However, right now, we're considering to enable/disable "shared" credentials for Platform connections only.
Can you please confirm that this idea refers to those connections only, or if we should also consider this as a setting for connections created in a project or catalog.
Thanks !
