Improve performance in queries with IN predicate

Hello!

We had problems with CPU in Production environment several months ago with a simple query with IN predicate. The CPU reached 100%! Particularly, this query has many literals within IN predicate and the IN predicate can't be matching. After several weeks with the case opened and being studiated by IBM CAS, they tell us that this kind of situation needs an improvement.

I include the query, its explain (that is not very bad) attached and the case number.

Thanks so much in advance!

Best regards,

Adrián.

Dear Adrian, One correction, although PH58750 is now available, the enhancement in it is tied to the activation of our next Db2 function level, which is planned for delivery in 4Q24.

    Sincerely,

    The Db2 for z/OS Team
