Database connection drops during the OPTIM load process

The Optim load request process has 2 steps.

1) Convert the Optim extract file to native loader ready files

2) Trigger the native DB load process

Optim initially makes a DB connection at the start of the load process. When the file convert process takes longer times, the DB connection getting dropped and when it is time to trigger the native DB loader process, DB connection was already disconnected and the Optim load job is failing with error 'Cannot create file'.

For reference, please look at the service request details included

Possible Solution:

To solve this issue, could it be possible to either

1) Keep hitting the DB during the file convert process to keep the connection alive (OR)

2) At the end of the file convert process and before triggering the native DB loader process, check whether DB connection is alive. If not, establish the DB connection and then trigger the native DB loader process

Hi, I'm working on this with Development. Looking to see if there is a reasonable option that can fit in the dev schedule. Moving it to "Future consideration" while we consider it.
