Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.
Show changes to Manage -> Configuration -> System -> Advanced Settings -> Custom Settings

Add a feature in account management to see which user group a user belongs to
I can take a look at the user group to see which user belongs to that group. However, there is no way to see which user group a user belongs to. So you need to contact the user and ask them to take a look at their settings. Please add a feature in...
Maintenance page instead of Cognos start page only for standard users, not for admins
If we have problems with Cognos, we want to withdraw access from all users except for admins so data / reports can be tested after successful repairs. The Cognos information banner does not help, because it is overlooked. Furthermore, users can by...
I would like to have the ability to schedule a refresh of an uploaded file. If you store your excel or text to a file share and grant Cognos access to that share, you should have the ability to schedule a refresh of that data file.
Data sets are having scheduleing properties to get refresh, However instead of defining individual data set refresh schedule it would be much helpful if we can use cognos jobs to include multiple data sets in a single batch and schedule refresh.
Add/Extend CA REST API endpoint to retrieve groups/roles/capabilities for a specified user

Restrict Burting Options per role/group/user: Run in parallel, Use query prefetching, Maximum key limit
Those using burst options can unintentionally take up all Cognos resources by enabling running bursted reports in parallel and setting the maximum key limit to 0. Administrators should have the ability to restrict these burst options from being se...
