AI Assistant should be applied to user work flow, not just data

The AI assistant should be able to look at what a user is commonly doing within Cognos and suggest better ways of doing it. It should work with the user to set up these suggestions.


Cognos is a complicated product, and users don't often use it the best way. This could start of with some simple portal ideas. Some examples of what the assistant could suggest:

"You run this report every morning, would you like me to schedule it for you?"

"Every time you run this report you view in Excel, did you know you can do that straight away?"

"you always run your reports in PDF, want me to change your preference?"

"you always navigate to these folders and run these reports, do you want me to add them to your favourites?"

"you always run this report with these prompts, would you like me to create a report view for you?"

"one of your schedules is always failing, do you want me to show you the errors?"

(When running a report) "This report has changed since you last used it, here are the notes about the change"
