There is request from customer for having this feature so please reconsider this.
Request you please reconisder this. Too Keep DB2 z/OS preferable from its competition.
Db2 for z/OS development believes this is a good idea for Db2 for z/OS. It is definitely on our future list but not in priority for the upcoming 24 months. If there are requests from more clients, we will adjust its priority. Thank you.
Db2 z/OS should have the same functions as in Db2 LUW, othser customer colud move out of z/OS or another SGBD running on LUW

Based on our Db2 for z/OS 24-month development work plan, the scope of the request, the potential benefit to the requesting client and to all clients, and other proprietary factors, we must decline this idea at this time.
Please note, we are constantly evaluating our strategies and directions for future deliverables. If this Idea is critical for day-to-day operations, we invite you to resubmit this idea for evaluation for a potential future Db2 for z/OS deliverable.

Thanks for clearing it up and making our decision easier to move away from DB2 on z/OS. We will be recommending this to our client, given that there is no intension on IBM side to add these features.

After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming deliverable because there is not sufficient customer interest. As a consequence we will not be implementing this Idea.

This missing functionality is just one more argument against running work on z/OS - we don't need any more!
