New Db2 ZPARM for specifying SMS storage & management classes for FlashCopy image copies

When doing FlashCopy image copies the Db2 utilities create image copies by ADRDSSU and it passes the same SMS storage & management classes as the Db2 spaces.
This is not always wanted as the performance and management requirements are in most cases different and this requires exception processing inside the SMS ACS rules.
It would be much easier if Db2 ZPARM would be update and recieve two new parameters to complement FCCOPYDDN like FCCOPYDDN_SC for storage class and FCCOPYDDN_MC for management class.
The other solution would be to call ADRDSSU witn NSC and NMC to not copy the SMS storage & management classes from the Db2 space.

    Thank you for submitting your enhancement request for Db2 FlashCopy image copies. We appreciate your valuable feedback and the time you took to share your idea with us.

    Today, the SMS storage and management classes for FlashCopy image copy data sets may be specified on the TEMPLATE utility control statement for the FlashCopy image copy. So, the capability to specify SMS classes that are different from your table spaces and index spaces is available. The SMS classes specified on the TEMPLATE will be passed to DFSMSdss for the allocation of the FlashCopy image copy data sets. This capability allows the specification of these SMS classes within each Db2 utility job which provides flexibility. New Db2 subsystem parameters would not provide this much flexibility.
