After START DB2 LIGHT(YES), provide new status messages while waiting for indoubt thread resolution

When DB2 is restartet using the LIGHT(YES) or LIGHT(CASTOUT) clause and indoubt URs exist, DB2 issues message DSNR052I at the end of restart. After this message, there is no acitvity driven by DB2 itself, that allows a monitoring or identifying what the current status is and if there is any progress made.
In order to clearly identify that DB2 is still waiting for an indoubt thread resolution by a peer (for example Websphere Application Server on a unix platform), DB2 should issue a new message in a regular interval.
This message should contain detailed information about the indoubt threads, that have to be resolved. It should be issued automatically every x seconds in order to visualize the progress that indoubt thread resolution is making (for example if DB2 is waiting for the resolution of lots of indoubt threads).

    Thank you for submitting this enhancement request. While we view all the enhancement requests we receive as valuable and we would like to implement all of them, in an effort to have maximum transparency we are closing the ones that don’t currently appear on our two year product roadmap. This is not to say that these enhancements may not still be implemented at some point in the future as we do evaluate our requirements on the basis of customer demand and technical impact, to deliver maximum value to our customers.


    We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team.  And we hope that you will continue to submit enhancement suggestions for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS.
