After PIT Recovery the RTS values are restored

Today some RTS statistics is lost after PIT Recovery. These statistics is necessary for other utilites like REORG, REBUILD or CHECK to calculate e.g. the correct SORTWKxx data set sizes. As we have very large objects, this behaviour lead to the consequnce that after a PIT recovery a RUNSTATS is required, which elongates the recovery time in reality and is of course unwished. There is already a line item on the plate to relief this behaviour, but not yet implemented.

This aha idea is intended to accelerate this implementation.

Consider also that the wished RTS statistics field restore should work for sequential image copies as well as for image copies produced by FlashCopy.

    Dear Peter, Thank you for opening this Aha requirement. While development is fully aware of the issue and had plans to address it before, this enhancement has not been prioritized high on the utility roadmap so far and currently we have no plan to deliver this within the next 12-15 months.

    We will continue to monitor this Aha when evaluating utility roadmaps in the coming year, in the hopes that more users would vote and show interest for this item for future prioritization.
