Add new column in Db2 catalog table

when IBM is planning to add a "LASTUSED" column on the DB2 for z/OS sysibm.systables table.

    Some of the information you would like is derivable today.

    RTS tracks INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE activity to a table - so you can monitor RTS for change (in Db2 12, RTS is optionally temporal - just needs to be enabled) and you would know if there were any IUD activity.

    We also have package last used - and you can tell any packages that are dependent on the table - so with reasonable accuracy, you can assume a table is used if the dependent package is used.

    Give the above - we suggest that you consider asking for an enhancement to RTS to track SELECT - if you would like that.  But Db2 doesn't plan on implementing what you are asking for - as is - within a reasonable time period.
